Hannover Messe is one of the largest industrial fairs in the world gathering 210,000 visitors and 6,150 exhibitors from 61 countries.

For 2009 Hannover Messe, Korea took active role as the partner country and Prime Minister Seung-Soo Han, Republic of Korea and German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel jointly hosted the opening ceremony of this industrial fair held in Hannover in Germany during April 20-24.

Energy Efficiency in Industrial Process was one of the main themes in 2009 Hannover Messe.

HIGEN MOTORS exhibited energy efficient technology products such as Transverse Flux Motor, IPM Motor, Servo Motor and Drive, High Voltage Inverter Motor, Spindle Motor, as one of the leading motor manufacturers in Korea pursuing energy efficient power transfer solution for the customers in the green era of low-carbon environmental friendly economic growth.

HIGEN MOTORS could expand its global business networks for OEM supply and international distribution opportunities with numerous customers from Germany, China, Italia, India, Turkey, Israel, Poland, Netherlands, Egypt, Belgium and Taiwan.

In particular, many customers showed serious interests in EtherCAT based Servo Motors and Drives of HIGEN MOTORS, and HIGEN management had business meetings with giants in the world automation industry such as Festo(Germany) and B&R(Austria).

Hannover Messe hosted many international business forums and festivities where Dr. Jae-Hak KIM, CEO of HIGEN Motors, and also auditor KOAMI (Korea Association of Machinery Industry) could meet many dignitaries in government, industrial and research sectors.
