Last April 4-6, 2011, Dr. JaeHak Kim, CEO of HIGEN Motor Co., Ltd, visited ASI (Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali , www.asiansaldo.com ), a strategic partner of HIGEN Motor and discussed with EVP D’Amico on ways to strengthen strategic alliance.

During the visit, Dr. JaeHak Kim witnessed performance testing of 280 kW HV motor prototype that was manufactured by HIGEN Motor according to ASI design base. The prototype motor showed satisfactory test results.

Further both ASI and HIGEN Motor agreed on expanding collaboration and joint marketing. The partnership agreement together with successful test results of the 280 kW 355 frame proto type unit is to increase the presence of ASI - HIGEN partnership in global EPC markets actively pursued by Korean EPC contractors.
